where can i buy the lego eiffel tower The lineup may not be the most impressive but the range of City sets on offer for $20 may be tempting for some. This sale starts tomorrow (Wednesday February 8th) and runs right through until February 28th. You can view the list of sets included below, or check out the catalogue yourself here. Nuremberg Toy Fair – What We Learnt About 2HY 2017 The Nuremberg Toy Fair – known as Spielwarenmesse – recently took place. The event was the first official look at sets being released in the second half of 2017.

While I couldn’t attend in person, the good people at Promo Bricks have allowed other LEGO sites to share their pictures from the event. Click on any image for a larger version. The Creator lineup for the second half of the year looks great. I’m a big fan of space sets so I can’t wait to see more of 31066 Space Shuttle. 31070 Turbo Track Racer looks great too. There is also a nice lineup of Creator Houses; the small 31067 Poolside Holiday, medium sized 31068 Modern Home and the largest 31069 Family Villa. Bricking Around Now A Recognised LEGO Fan Media Site Last week I received the exciting news that Bricking Around has been approved as a Recognised LEGO Fan Media site. After years of hard work trying to make Bricking Around the best it can be, this approval should help make the site better than ever. Recognised LEGO Fan Media is a new program offered by LEGO to help support sites that contribute to the LEGO fan community. Being part of the program means that I am now a LEGO Ambassador, and have new ways to communicate directly with LEGO and other members of the community.

It should mean more timely news about announcements and potentially new content such as more reviews. The content that you come here for won’t change, but hopefully things just get better. I’d also like to say thanks to everybody that reads Bricking Around, acceptance in the program wouldn’t have happened without so many regular readers. February Offer From LEGO Online After a slight delay the February offer from the online LEGO store is now active, and it probably won’t be a surprise to discover that it’s Batman themed. Spend over $100 and get a free “Disco Batman & Tears of Batman”. That’s right, not one but two Batmans (or Batmen?). Both figures look fantastic and will certainly add to your collection of Batman minifigures. With so many new sets it shouldn’t be hard to get to that $100 threshold. Here is a better look at the minifigures: Warning – LEGO Batman Movie Spoilers Are Out Over the weekend preview screenings for The LEGO Batman Movie took place in regions where the film is released soon.

These preview screenings mean that there are a heap of reviews and opinions online. With the Australian release of the film not until March 30th we have a long wait to try and avoid spoilers. Here are a few tips; If you can resist the temptation don’t read any reviews, if you can’t resist then try and find reviews that specifically mention that they are spoiler free. Don’t read the comments Nothing good happens in comment sections. Even a review that is spoiler free can have a jerk posting spoilers in the comments. This morning the LEGO Facebook page had a post about the film. With over a hundred comments there are sure to be people discussing key plot points. Any twitter hashtags are likely to also be a minefield. Be careful what you Google This one got me with The LEGO Movie. I googled the name of the movie to try and find something. The top result was a news article spoiling the end of the movie. If possible try and use more words in your searches for example “LEGO Batman Movie Sets Big W” instead of just “The LEGO Batman Movie”.

Good luck out there LEGO Friends Make & Take At Toys R Us It’s hard to go past a LEGO Make & Take event, and this one from Toys R Us should be popular with Friends fans. On Saturday February 18th Toys R Us VIP members will be able to head in store and build this cute Heartlake Pool slide and umbrella. Places are limited so you will need to register as soon as possible. Beauty and The Beast BrickHeadz Announced It seems that the BrickHeadz theme could be an interesting addition to the 2017 lineup. While most people assumed that the theme was just super heroes LEGO have blown that notion out of the water with two new sets… With a new live action re-telling of the Disney classic coming out this year these kind of make perfect sense. They certainly change what we could see with the theme. This line in the product page certainly has me intrigued. “Have fun growing your LEGO® BrickHeadz collection with other classic characters, including 41595 Belle, from your favorite movies, TV series, games and comics.“.

Who would you like to see added to the line-up? Australian Price For BrickHeadz Confirmed LEGO have updated their online store with pages for the recently announced BrickHeadz sets. That means we now know that all of the sets have an Australian RRP of $15.99. With a variety of printed parts and licensing costs I think these are quite well priced. They are perfectly suited to a “Buy One, get one half price” sale. These sets should be available in March, with a VIP release possible mid-February. New LEGO Batman Movie Sets Announced The LEGO Facebook page has shared pictures of the second wave of The LEGO Batman Movie sets. This wave seems to include plenty of characters missing from the first wave. Click on the images for larger versions. See the others below 71348 Hermione Fun Pack Announced LEGO Dimensions have used the Harry Potter celebration in Orlando Florida to announce details of the 71348 Hermione Fun Pack. The pack will feature a Hermione minifigure wearing her outfit from Deathly Hallows and a brick-built Buckbeak.
