What are we best at? We have more than How was the museum started? The idea of starting a private museum was born in 2010. A private collector Miloš Křeček figured he had accumulated over 1000 original LEGO models. It became obvious he couldn´t keep them in his flat anymore. Also, it would be a shame to keep them for himself. That is why he started to work on a project of how to make his huge collection accessible to public. At the end of 2010 he found and rented the right space, with 340 m2 big enough for his intentions. buy lego technic mobile crane It's a small museum. We expected some more creativity. The museum is a bit messy with constructions which are built from boxes. We did expected more ambiance and more unique constructions. The museum looks like a marketing place for the lego store itself. Husband and I really enjoyed looking at all the different sets they have released over the years, picking out those we remember from childhood as well as those we would like now haha! Coming from Denmark, I was interested in seeing a foreign exhibition of my favourite toy as a child.

I was surprised by the size of it, and if you plan to study it all carefully, you should at least calculate on a 1-1 1/2 hour visit. The Starwars section was quite interesting. The lego museum was a bit crowded as it is of course a family oriented establishment. However, that was mainly the retail area. I bought a ticket and took a self guided tour and stood in amazement at all their displays. This would have to be my dream one day to own that many sets. I absolutely loved the Star... Okay so I quite like Lego and I like the crazy sculptures that people can make. I'd saw that there was a museum in Prague when I was visiting so I gave it a Google and it said it was the biggest in the world etc etc. So my boyfriend and I thought it would be a good and cheap... Would totally recommend for families with small children. Full of good ideas made of lego. They can also play with the lego bricks. Also the staff was nice and polite. We enjoyed this visit. Early on a cold december day nothing was open at 9am except this museum, so my son and I visited.

I had read that it was very small, but the exhibitions displayed are also in other rooms leading off the main area., including rooms and areas up the staircase. I was blown away by all the lego! The Lego museum was mostly filled with Lego kits. I was hoping to see more large objects built out of Legos. That being said, the kids had a good time. There are a couple of play areas for kids to build with Legos. There is also a whole Star Wars area. For kids and adults quite interesting, a must for LEGO fans. Can always be a nice add on for a Prague visit. Really enjoyed our visit to the Lego Museum, the shop is quite small-ish but we were really impressed with the huge amount of lego toys in the museum part - trains, Star Wars, famous buildings, character and old sets of lego from the early 90s that I remember from my childhood! It was all well laid out and staff were...Photos for Lego Store Claim your business page and access your free Yelp for Business Owners account.
