You may feel like it’s a bit early to talk about Christmas, however I wanted to bring it to your attention that this year’s LEGO Advent Calendar sets are now available. The reason I mention this is because these are sets that tend to sell by the time you would think about buying them, so picking them up early is a good idea. If you are not familiar with the LEGO Advent Calendars I recommend that you read the following article I wrote about the history of these fun holiday sets: LEGO Christmas Sets: Advent Calendars. In short LEGO Advent Calendars mimic traditional European advent calendars; counting down to Christmas by opening a little window each day, and finding a little treasure inside (in this case small LEGO set). LEGO usually releases two or three advent calendars in different themes, so we will talk about the ones available for this year, as well as where you can get them. ➡ #60063 LEGO CITY ADVENT CALENDAR – This is one of the most traditional LEGO Advent Calendars, and although sometimes people feel that LEGO City is a bit boring, this year’s LEGO City Advent Calendar is excellent! irst of all there is a proper Santa minifig, instead of that fake Santa we have been getting for years with a red pirate headband. This more appropriate version of Santa only appeared once previously in the LEGO Collectible Minifigure Series, and comes with another rare piece in the form of his bag. Then there is also a full turkey, another piece that is hard to come by and LEGO fans love to get their hands on.
