Excellent Set OverallFive Stars See and discover other items: new lego, lego batman, lego sales and deals High to low rating Low to high rating This truly is an awesome build, love it! looks great on the bookshelf and has become the home for all my spare mini figures that don't fit in there own star wars ships, plenty of room in this one! I will admit as its my first big build, I struggled with the plastic cockpit took a few go's to get it to fit and after some reviewing I found that I had put a flat 4x2 piece in the wrong position by one row, after that it all slotted together. The inner of the ship is full of detail and lots of little spaces, some have said there's no ramp for the mini figures to get in/out, there is on the left side it just latch onto the above part but can be used as a ramp in/out but due to the height of the ships feet its a tight fit if playing flat to the ground.

But for me its a display model. I got this over a year ago post Christmas it was hard to find and I struggled for 8 weeks to get one but glad I have one in my collection. Unsure what set to get next as I have a full set and have ran out of shelf space! might get an standard X-Wing next, as I have Poe's and that's just as great as the Falcon! This is a cool set, i think that the majority of its features are really well designed. The minifigures are good, i especially like the new Han Solo mini figure as i wanted the old version, and all the other figures are great too, though it would of been nice to see some more exclusive prints on the minifigs. The set looks great and is a lot bigger than i originally thought The BIG CONS with this set are: When i pick it up from the sides (most times) 3/4 of the craft sides just fall off in your fingers as they are not connected well enough to handle weight. The other major one is that the Technic bricks underneath the base, separate from the base and cause a gap between the base plates and the Technic bricks making it easy to break.

The landing gear are usually stationary but with just a few bricks i made them retractable. Overall this is a good set but needs to be strong enough and durable for play purposes. A very satisfying purchase. Just tricky enough to build to keep kids and Dad's interested. A nice collection of minifigs and a finished product that looks good on display and is a great for play, with a fantastic interior.. A surprisingly solid build as well. You can swosh this around a bit which is pretty impressive for a kit of this size with so many moving parts. A real improvement over the last falcon. Not many negatives, but I was not happy with the landing gear- not much though put into that at all. I would have appreciated a round radar dish so you could swap it with the rectangle depending on which scene you are recreating. And I would have liked a big more detail in the gunner stations. Overall though this hard to fault. OTS fans and new fans will love it. If you don't have a falcon you will be pretty happy getting this one.

What a fantastic build this is. Having recently (mid-2016) rekindled my interest in Lego Star Wars, I have been quite taken by this model. After being after this ship since my childhood, I have finally - in my early twenties - got my hands on possibly the most exciting version of the ship, since I will probably never come by UCS 10179. The figure selection is very good, and most people will find they have other characters - such as R2-D2 - that they can add to the crew to improve it further. I animate with Lego sets, so they are given life but not played-with as such, and I find this one to be a great representation of the ship as it appears in TFA. The scale is good, and it is very robust. I would have liked a less ugly undercarriage, but it is absolutely solid and the ship looks fantastic on display. A great way to round-off my 2016 collecting spree along with Death Star Final Duel, Carbon Freezing Chamber and various others. Star Wars is reaching extortionate levels of pricing for these larger sets, but this was a gift so I have been able to overlook that and see only the brilliant set and build that it is.

Fun assembly, hangs nicely with my other ships! Not a bad price either. I truly don´t believe I have the set in hands... !! It is so beautiful and satisfying... !! Why all the hate? Negative comments and throwing this set as a bad copy of the previous one? I think it is incredibly improved!! - If you compare it to the spaceship in the movie, it is absolutely accurate! - Awesome choice of figures - Han Solo - Big draw!! - New and much more detailed chess scene - Crossbow of Chewbacca, need weapon - Integrated flick-fire missiles inside the two front pieces (you fire them just by inserting your fingers inside the holes) - You can sit two figures inside the cockpit - Only one, it has quit a lot of stickers, but they are nice, so don´t mind them so much.. Overall, for every single Star Wars fan, it is an absolutely must have!! I love it more and more, every time I see it !! Don´t look at the price, it will blow your brain from your head, once you put it on a shelf :-)

10 out of 10 PS: Love the BB-8 figure, so cute as in the movie! My child had a terrific time building this lego set and plays with it every day, literally. My son tells me that the coolest features are the spring-loaded shooters, the build, the way you open up the set, and the overall streamlined body of this lego star wars set. He says that this set is simply awesome and is the coolest set ever. Based on what he described, I agree too. I got this set as a christmas gift and started building right away. It was a fun build that took about 7 hours. It has a ton of great features and minifigures. I love this set! The exterior and interior of the ship itself are more detailed than the previous model (7695), which is always appreciated. The minifies are not as great as the original trilogy list, but are still very nice.
