Two words to kake it better, MIL-SPEC Tires!I love this set and I used the rims with MIL-SPEC ZXL 2.2 Tires to make a mining truck. Technic 42009: Mobile Crane Mk II See all 109 customer reviews I will admit I was swayed to buy this latest top of the range Technic because of the power functions. 2 IR controllers, 2 Receivers, a servo motor for steering, an XL motor, medium motor and small motor - basically the full set. I wanted to motorise my LEGO Technic 8110 Mercedes-Benz Unimog U 400 which I duly did.Afterwards I decided to build the Volvo Loader and the difference between this and the Unimog could not be greater.

For a start this model is built around the motors. Someone had full access to the Technic parts bin and designed the best model they could with no compromises. The result is a really fun build that makes sense from start to finish. It is not repetitive and the level of detail is superb. It looks better and bigger in real life than on the box and the proportions are completely true to the real L350F.I think this has been the most enaging Technic build since LEGO Technic 9396: Rescue Helicopter and in many ways it is much better. Never will you think I wish it had more motors or infrared control - this model has it all.The box is massive and the manual is not in the usual 5 sections but in one book bound section. I was skeptical of this but now after the build I prefer it as there are no bits to get lost.I have yet to build the B model but it too is a lifelike representation of a Volvo Truck and it has a seperate sticker set - kudos to Lego for that.
